Today E-TEN proudly announced its latest Glofiish-branded smartphone, the X650. Based on Windows Mobile 6 Professional, the X650 uses a large 2.8 touchscreen with VGA resolution, four times the resolution of a typical QVGA displays. The E-TEN Glofiish X650 is another PDA Phone from E-TEN that uses the Windows Mobile 6 Professional platform and comes complete with the latest mobile applications for business and leisure. It supports Direct Push Technology to help business users work more effectively with email even while out of the office and includes mobile versions of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint for greater convenience and productivity. The X650 is powered by a Samsung SC32442 500 MHz Processor and includes 256 MB ROM and 64 MB SDRAM which can be extended with microSD memory cards. Furthermore the X650 supports quadband GSM - GPRS - EDGE as well as Bluetooth 2.0 and WiFi b - g plus a SiRF Star III GPS chipset. The user can stay in contact with friends, family and business colleagues by creating either a SMS text message, email or MMS multimedia message. The MMS message allows the user to share photos and video with other MMS contacts. The user will enjoy having a mobile emails service on their X650 which allows them to send, store and receive emails when and where ever they are. The Bluetooth wireless technology allows the user to connect to other Bluetooth devices with a wirefree connection. The Eten X650 comes with EDGE technology which provides fast and efficient transfers and downloads. The quadband technology covers GSM 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 which will automatically switch between network bands without the user knowing and providing wide network coverage depending on network operator. The handsfree speakerphone feature allows the user to take a call over the phones speakers which leaves the user handsfree to continue to work or simply relax&chat without holding the handset.
